When our glucose levels spike after a meal and then drop an hour later, that activates the craving center in our brain. We feel an irresistible urge to eat sugar. Trying to resist won’t work! The solution is to solve the root cause: glucose spikes.

Insulin resistance

Insulin is in charge of putting extra glucose away into our muscles, liver, and fat cells. But when we give our body too much glucose over too many years, it no longer works very well.
